Multilingual Webbphones
Webb Electronics is the only manufacturer to supply equipment that can communicate with installers, monitoring stations and passengers in French, English and Spanish.
For the installer, bilingual manuals are available which describe the installation and setup of the phone. French and English voice prompts allow the installer to use the language of their choice while programming.
When the monitoring station answers, they will hear voice prompts in English or French, depending on the language options selected by the installer. These prompts instruct the operator on how to connect with the caller and determine the location of the elevator.
The passenger making an emergency call on a Webbphone will hear voice prompts in English, French, English followed by French, French followed by English or English followed by Spanish, depending on the language options selected by the installer. These prompts keep the passenger informed about the progress of their call.
When activated, Voice-Alert™ self diagnostic messages will play in the same combinations of English, French and Spanish as the passenger voice prompts described above.
The Webb LS-250 Rescue Station has manuals, graphics and programmable LCD system status information available in both English and French.
